Colin Roer - Solicitor and Partner

Colin is a graduate of Downing College Cambridge. He qualified as a solicitor in 1978. He gives advice on a wide variety of predominantly non-contentious matters specialising in the preparation of Wills, administration of estates and the management and administration of trusts. He also handles domestic and commercial conveyancing. He has been a Partner in the firm since 1981.

Martin Shreeves – Solicitor and Partner

Martin qualified as a solicitor in 1978 after graduating from Magdalen College, Oxford and having trained in Central London. He joined the firm in 1981 and since then has had extensive experience in a wide area of the law. He deals with all legal aspects of divorce and separation, including those relating to children and property. He has experience of dealing with complex cases involving high-value assets both in this country and abroad. Martin also deals with property matters, including commercial leases, commercial and residential property litigation, possession actions and other Landlord and Tenant issues and general litigation.

Kevin McGarry – Solicitor

Kevin qualified as a solicitor in October 1977. He has worked at Barker Gooch & Swailes since 1999. He is experienced in the preparation of Wills, administration of estates and also in the preparation and registration of Powers of Attorney.

Angela Bogan – Solicitor

Angela qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has been with Barker Gooch & Swailes since 2000. She has a BA Honours and a Masters’ Degree from Keele University. Angela has considerable experience in family law and child law and specialises in these areas.

James Perry – Solicitor

James qualified in 2003 and joined Barker Gooch & Swailes in February 2024. He has a BA (Hons) Degree in Classics and an LLB (Law) Degree. James mainly deals with residential conveyancing and related property matters including leasehold extensions and enfranchisement (freehold acquisition).

Odette McBride – Solicitor

Odette qualified as a solicitor in November 1999. She has worked as a solicitor with Barker Gooch & Swailes since January 2004. She gives advice in non-contentious matters specialising in the preparation of Wills, the administration of estates and the management and administration of trusts.
